Laurelbrook’s church service on February 29, 2020 began with a welcome by Heissel (senior). She mentioned that this afternoon at 2:30 there will be a meeting to organize a program this afternoon for the nursing home. Clifton Brandt mentioned that the religious liberty subscription campaign was almost at an end.
Felix (senior) played an introduction for the service. David Ondrejika had the invocation. The congregation sang “Because He Lives”. Clayton Brandt had the Morning Prayer; the congregation sang “Hear Our Prayer, O Lord”.
Eldric (junior) announced the time for the church offerings had come. Daryll Ellis and Iram (senior) collected the tithes and offerings. Any money not designated for a particular purpose went toward the North American Division evangelism. The congregation sang “Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow”. Eldric prayed for the offering.
David Ondrejika sang a song he composed this morning about the sights and sounds he noticed this morning for special music, accompanying himself on his guitar.
David Ondrejika had the sermon. He closed with a song about the cross making a difference in our lives. The congregation sang “Amazing Grace”. David Ondrejika had the closing prayer.
