Ginny Arce Discusses the Human Brain and the Ark

Sabbath services on November 19, 2016 began with a piano introit by Beth Brandt. James Brenneman led the song service, accompanied by Beth Brandt on the piano. The opening song was “The Judgment Has Been Set”. Cesiah (junior) welcomed everyone.

Thanos (sophomore) then read the scripture reading - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Ginny White then showed a video from Tanzania, Africa about Global Mission Pioneers in that country. Several boys then collected the Laurelbrook Missions Offering, which goes to support Laurelbrook mission trips.  Ginny White then had a few thoughts on a human brain and the Ark of the Covenant in the earthly sanctuary. Ginny White and four students played an instrumental number for special music, accompanied by Jairit (senior) on the piano.

The congregation then became one Sabbath School class taught by Bob Gustafson in the auditorium on “Innocent Blood”, a study of human suffering as revealed in the story of Job.
Following are a few notes from the theme talk:
  1. Hebrews 1:14 “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Talking about angels).
  2. A section of the human brain looks like the angels above the Ark of Covenant.
  3. The Thalamus interprets and defines what we see and think just like the Holy Spirit.
  4. We have an atmosphere around us that smells according to whether we are following Christ or Satan.
