Elementary School Has Sabbath School Program

Sabbath services on November 7, 2015 began with a song service led by Mrs. Angel White, accompanied on the piano by Cheyna Ashe. The opening song was “Don’t Forget the Sabbath”.   TerriAnn (elementary school student as were all the rest of the participants) welcomed everyone. Briana read the scripture reading and had prayer. Galenka read the mission story.  All the elementary students sang a song. The 7th and 8th graders (TerriAnn, Briana, and Ariana) then had a few thoughts. The elementary bell choir played a special number under the direction of Cheyna Ashe. Edi had a few thoughts. Galenka announced the closing song.

The congregation sang “O Day of Rest of Gladness” for a closing song. Tianna and Diaro collected the Laurelbrook Penny Offering Offering, which helps students and staff members go on mission trips. TerriAnn then had closing prayer.  The congregation then became two Sabbath School classes, one taught by Clayton Brandt in the church sanctuary and one taught by Bob and Michelle Gustafson “behind the glass” in the church.
